Video: Hiking Angels Landing in Zion National Park

Zion National Park is home to some of the most outstanding landscapes found anywhere in the American west. It is also home to one of the most spectacular hikes as well. The walk out to Angels Landing is beautiful and challenging, making it difficult for some to reach the breathtaking view found at the end. Thanks to this video – shot on the new DJI Osmo camera – you won't have to. Sit back and enjoy, it is a jaw-dropping experience.

Video: Exploring Utah with Ace and His Desert Dog

Last year, Ace Kvale turned 60 and to celebrate, he planned a 60 day journey through Utah's wonderful canyon country with his dog, a ten-year old Australian Blue Heeler named Genghis Kahn. Other friends came and went throughout the hike, but Genghis stayed with him the entire way. Their story is told brilliantly in this video, which reminds us why our favorite adventure dogs are definitely man's best friend.

Video: More Than Just Parks Presents Zion in 8K

The latest video from Will and Jim Pattiz – the two brothers behind the More Than Just Parks project – is Zion National Park in Utah, a place that is remote, wild, and breathtakingly beautiful. As usual, Will and Jim do an amazing job of capturing the essence of the park, giving viewers a spectacular tour of this amazing place in just four minutes time. If you haven't been to Zion yet, you need to add it to your list of adventure destinations. But then again, after watching this video, you'll want to do that anyway. Enjoy!

Video: Conrad Anker and David Lama Complete New Route in Zion National Park

25 years ago, climbing legend Conrad Anker attempted a new route in Zion National Park, and while partially successful, he was unable to complete his intended line. Recently, he returned to that iconic setting with David Lama in tow, and the two men were able to finish that ascent at long last. They called it Latent Core, and this video shows you what it is all about. Truly spectacular.

Video: Zion: Rock of Refuge

Zion National Park is one of the best places in the world to go canyoneering and climbing. It is an outdoor playground that is almost too spectacular for word. This video is a 40-minute documentary that takes viewers into the heart of Zion, showing off some of the amazing landscapes that exist there, and the opportunities for outdoor adventure. While it is longer than most of the videos I share here on The Adventure Blog, it is also worth watch. So make yourself a snack, get settled in, and enjoy this great short-film on Zion. Afterwards, you'll be planning your own visit to the park soon. Simply beautiful.

Video: A Timelapse Journey Through the American Southwest

Let's kickoff the weekend in style. This video, shot entirely in the American Southwest, captures the landscapes of that region in amazing fashion. The beautiful settings, including the Grand Canyon, as well as Bryce, Zion, and Canyonalands National Parks, are almost hypnotic. If you haven't been to this part of the U.S., you need to make it a priority to get there soon.

Video: Zion Traverse - Running 53 Miles Across Zion National Park

Ultrarunners love finding beautiful, but difficult, terrain, and then doing what they do best – namely running across said terrain. That seems to be the case in this video, which follows some ultrarunners as they make a traverse of the stunning Zion National Park in Utah, covering a total of 53 miles in the process.
