Video: Trail Running Through the Canyons of Nowhere, Utah

The stunning landscapes of American southwest take center stage in this beautiful video that follows ultrarunners Rickey Gates and Dakota Jones as they head into the canyons of "Nowhere, Utah" to explore the amazing topography that is found there. Traveling on foot and by raft, the two men discover a vast wilderness that is simply breathtaking to behold. This is another great video from the team a Salomon, who have been knocking it out of the park with their clips recently. I hope you enjoy.

Video: Valhalla - A Journey Through a Hidden Slot Canyon in Oregon

In a country as settled and developed at the U.S. it is hard to believe that there are still corners of the map that have yet to be full explored. But there are also many wild places in the States, some of which have yet to be visited by man. Take for example the slot canyon shown in this video. It was recently discovered in a remote area of Oregon, and judging from the footage seen here, it is a pristine, untouched place that looks like a hidden paradise. The exact location of this place has not been shared, and after watching this, I think that might be for the best. Definitely an amazing looking place. Don't miss this clip. It is well worth a watch.

Video: A Visit to the Hills of Mars

This video takes us to an otherworldly landscape located in Saudi Arabia that looks like it might be found on the surface of Mars. The region is filled with canyons, rock towers, and other unique formations, making it a great destination for adventure travelers. After watching this, I now have another new place to visit on my bucket list.

Video: We Are Canyoneers

If you've never been canyoneering before, this video will certainly inspire you to want to go. It is a beautifully shot short film that takes us deep into some extremely beautiful gorges and canyons as we get a first-hand look at what the sport is all about. Equal parts hiking, climbing, and repelling, canyoneering gives us an opportunity to explore places that few other people have ever seen, and as you'll see from the clip below, those places can be amazing.

Video: Exploring Antelope Canyon in Arizona

Arizona's Antelope Canyon is one of those iconic places that you've probably seen before, but just didn't know it. It has been the subject of many beautiful photos, with the twisting corridors of the slot canyon helping to create some remarkable images to say the least. In this video we delve deep into that landscape, wandering the narrow passages of the canyon where light and shadow play off the sandstone walls in impressive fashion. It is a beautiful place that is awe inspiring for sure.

Video: Zion: Rock of Refuge

Zion National Park is one of the best places in the world to go canyoneering and climbing. It is an outdoor playground that is almost too spectacular for word. This video is a 40-minute documentary that takes viewers into the heart of Zion, showing off some of the amazing landscapes that exist there, and the opportunities for outdoor adventure. While it is longer than most of the videos I share here on The Adventure Blog, it is also worth watch. So make yourself a snack, get settled in, and enjoy this great short-film on Zion. Afterwards, you'll be planning your own visit to the park soon. Simply beautiful.
